The Role

• Build and operate AI platforms for data pipelines, training, deployment, and inference

• Optimize for best-in-class AI models using suitable ML and LLM approaches

• Provide technical leadership and ownership, including architecture and mentoring

• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable AI platform features

• Ensure reliability, performance, and cost-efficient operation of AI-based systems

• Develop solutions for efficient interoperability and load distribution between in-vehicle and cloud platforms

What You'll Need

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or comparable qualification

• At least five years of professional experience in (AI) platform engineering or AI tooling

• Proven track record of leading and implementing complex technical AI solutions in cloud or edge devices

• Hands-on experience in machine learning or generative AI, proficient in Python, Node.js/Nest.js, Java/Kotlin, or Go

• Deep understanding of cloud architectures (mainly AWS), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and (ML)Ops

• Very good written and spoken English skills; German is a plus
