Senior AI and AWS Engineer

Analytix One GmbH is a Frankfurt-based IT consultancy specialising in financial services technology. We work with banks, asset managers, and wealth management firms across Germany on complex technology challenges - from AI strategy and implementation to regulatory compliance, core banking modernisation, and data engineering. We are growing, and we are looking for an experienced AI and AWS engineer who thrives in environments where technical excellence meets real-world business impact.

What you will do

* Design and build AI agent systems and agentic workflows using frameworks such as AWS Strands Agent, LangGraph, or comparable orchestration libraries

* Develop enterprise-grade chatbots and conversational AI solutions leveraging LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, and tool/function calling

* Implement and integrate AWS AI services, in particular:

* AWS Bedrock - model access, guardrails, prompt pipelines, and knowledge bases

* AWS Agent Frameworks / Agent Core for multi-agent coordination

* Serverless stack - Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, EventBridge

* Build and optimise S3-based vector stores for RAG pipelines and semantic retrieval

* Develop Streamlit and lightweight web applications for demos, internal tooling, and client-facing interfaces

* Deploy and operate AI workloads on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK), CI/CD pipelines, and strong security practices (IAM, VPC, compliance)

* Integrate AI capabilities into scalable enterprise data platforms within regulated financial services environments

* Collaborate directly with consultants and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

What You Bring

* Several years of hands-on experience in cloud, data, or AI engineering - with a strong focus on AWS

* Deep AWS expertise: Bedrock, agent frameworks, serverless architectures, IAM, and S3-based vector stores

* Proven track record building production-grade AI agent systems and multi-agent architectures

* Solid experience developing RAG applications and enterprise chatbots

* Strong Python skills - LangChain, LangGraph, Strands, boto3, FastAPI, and related tooling

* Familiarity with frontier LLM stacks: Anthropic Claude, Amazon Nova, Azure OpenAI, or similar providers

* Experience working within regulated environments - compliance, auditability, data residency, and enterprise security constraints

* Practical deployment experience using IaC (Terraform or CDK) and modern CI/CD practices

* Awareness of emerging agentic AI patterns: tool use, memory, planning, reflection, and human-in-the-loop workflows

* Basic familiarity with C#/.NET is a plus; Python is the primary language

* Strong communication skills - you can explain architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Fluent in English and (preferably) German
