SENSIA Solutions is a leading company in the infrared (IR) imaging market that designs, manufactures and sells AI-based cameras mainly for gas detection and quantification and flame detection. Our technology covers industrial, environmental, safety and security applications.

At SENSIA we are seeking an experienced Commercial Director with a strong background in the Defense & Security sector, particularly in optronic systems, to lead and drive business growth at both national and international levels.

🚀Role Description

* Define and implement the commercial strategy within the Defense & Security sector.

* Identify and develop new business opportunities related to optronic systems (electro-optics, infrared systems, surveillance, night vision, etc.).

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including Ministries of Defense, public institutions, system integrators, and international partners.

* Lead complex bidding processes, including public tenders and private proposals.

* Collaborate with engineering, product, and technical teams to tailor solutions to client needs.

* Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and ensure achievement of revenue targets.

* Represent the company at international exhibitions, industry events, and high-level meetings.

* Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team to ensure high performance.

* Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements in the defense industry.

🔍Profile we are looking for

* Minimum of 8–10 years of commercial experience in the Defense & Security sector.

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

* Proven expertise in optronic systems and related technologies.

* Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and long, complex sales cycles.

* Fluent in English (C1 level or higher) and additional languages are a plus.

* Strong experience with public procurement processes and government contracting.

* Excellent negotiation skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

* Strong business development and results-oriented mindset.

* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
