We are inventing a foundational manipulation platform which will transform warehouse robotics through innovative and efficient robot designs and software which makes it easy to deploy and scale robotic systems. The team is seeking exceptional Software Engineers to help build and scale this platform across the Amazon warehouse network.
Key job responsibilities
Specific areas of focus may include (but are not limited too):
* Design and implement robotic applications and infrastructure in the cloud.
* Influence the team's strategy and contribute to long-term vision and roadmap for large-scale robotic log processing.
* Maintain high standards by participating in reviews, designing for fault tolerance and operational excellence, and creating mechanisms for continuous improvement.
* Partner with scientists to implement, measure, and deploy algorithms, such as machine learning models.
* Work directly with customers and see the impact of your products in the field

Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
* 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
* Experience programming with at least one software programming language
* Experience with AWS or cloud technologies
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
* 5+ years of robotics system components and controls experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
