ROBOT SOFTWARE ENGINEER | PITTSBURGH, PA OR REMOTE

(ros Experience Preferred)

We are looking for talented and motivated software engineers to help build a variety of robotic systems. The ideal candidate should be experienced with robotics. Hours are flexible. This is a contract-to-hire position, which will start part-time and ramp up as results are achieved. Exceptional candidates will be considered for future work.

Required Experience

* B.S. in Computer Science or similar field

* Proficient with Ubuntu

* Proficient with Windows

* Strong Knowledge of C++

* 2+ years programming robotic systems

* Must work well independently, as well as with others

* Self-Starter

* Organized & able to meet or exceed deadlines

Preferred Experience

* ROS Experience

* Ph.D. or M.S. in robotics or sImilar field

* 4+ years of relevant experience

* Knowledge of kinematics

* Experience integrating, debugging, and tuning servo controls

* Knowledge of mechatronic systems

* Github Proficiency
