An experienced Quality Manager to lead and drive quality initiatives across our humanoid and robotics projects. This strategic leadership role will drive end to end data quality integrity, quality assurance, testing frameworks, and continuous improvement processes for Physical AI humanoid robotics space. The successful candidate will ensure that our humanoid data solutions meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Quality Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies tailored to humanoid and robotics development cycles
* Testing Framework Development: Design and oversee testing protocols for robotic systems, including hardware integration, AI model validation, and real-world performance scenarios
* Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a quality assurance team dedicated to robotics and AI projects
* Standards & Compliance: Ensure all products meet industry standards, safety regulations, and TELUS Digital AI quality benchmarks
* Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects
* Risk Management: Assess quality risks specific to humanoid robotics (safety, reliability, edge cases) and develop mitigation strategies
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and AI teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the development lifecycle
* Metrics & Reporting: Establish KPIs, track quality metrics, and provide regular reports to senior leadership
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, test cases, and audit trails
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5+ years of quality assurance or quality management experience in technology/software development
* 3+ years of experience in egocentric data collection, robotics, autonomous systems, or AI/ML projects
* Proven track record of leading quality initiatives in complex, hardware-software integrated environments
* Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (unit testing, integration testing, system testing, UAT)
* Experience with quality management systems and frameworks (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Agile QA practices)
* Excellent project management and organizational skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or related field

* Experience with humanoid robotics or autonomous robotic systems
* Knowledge of AI/ML model validation and testing
* Familiarity with safety-critical systems and compliance (ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
* Certification in quality management (ASQ, Six Sigma Black Belt)
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
* Background in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
* Agile/Scrum certification
