Aspire Software is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Lebanon.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that new features, enhancements, integrations, and existing functionality meet our quality standards before they reach our customers.

This role combines manual and automated testing. We are looking for someone who understands QA fundamentals, has hands-on experience with test automation, and is comfortable working with business applications involving financial and numerical data. You will work closely with Product Manager, Developers, Business Analysts, and other QA team members throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and user stories.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.

• Identify opportunities to increase test automation and improve overall QA efficiency.

• Validate calculations, formulas, financial data, reports, dashboards, and data transformations.

• Test data imports, submissions, integrations, APIs, and database-driven functionality.

• Verify that changes do not introduce regressions into existing functionality.

• Investigate, reproduce, document, and track defects using Jira.

• Work closely with developers to analyze defects and verify fixes.

• Participate in requirements and refinement sessions and identify potential quality risks early in the development process.

• Contribute to the definition and improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.

• Maintain clear and structured test documentation and test evidence.

• Support release testing and provide QA feedback and recommendations before production releases

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in Software QA / Software Testing.

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test cases, defect management, and software development life cycles.

• Practical experience with test automation.

• Experience testing web-based applications.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into comprehensive test scenarios.

• Understanding of financial/business concepts and numerical data.

• Experience working with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.

• Good understanding of regression and integration testing.

• Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders
