Our challenge

As a Python Developer specializing in Generative AI, you will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions. This role involves working closely with data scientists and product teams to build intelligent applications that utilize the latest advancements in Generative AI.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain Python-based applications and tools related to Generative AI.

* Collaborate with data scientists to implement machine learning and AI models into production environments.

* Optimize and enhance existing AI models for performance and accuracy.

* Participate in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

* Ensure code quality, maintainability, and documentation.

* Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Generative AI and related technologies.

* Support deployment and integration of AI solutions within the company's infrastructure.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

* 5+ years of software development experience with Python.

* Hands-on experience with Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, DALL·E, similar frameworks).

* Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.

* Experience with NLP and other AI-related tasks.

* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

* Excellent communication skills.

Preferred, but not required:

* Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

* Knowledge of API development and integration.

* Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.

* Prior experience in a hybrid work model.
