We are seeking for a Python Developer for Automation to fill the position to join our team at a client’s facility in Paris, Île-de-France, France.

Important details

* 3-4 days onsite

* Language: French (C1) + English

* Years of experience: 5+years

Overview:

This position focuses on developing and maintaining automation solutions using Python and related technologies. The developer will work on migrating workflows to Airflow, implementing automation for alerts and service requests, and ensuring operational excellence in cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities:

* Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, PowerShell, and KSH

* Design and implement database interactions (SQL, MySQL, Postgres)

* Work on OS environments: Windows, Linux, AIX

* Automate actions and processes across infrastructure

* Migrate workflows to Airflow and maintain orchestration

* Implement alert automation and service request automation

* Collaborate on virtualization and cloud deployments (OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes)

* Ensure compliance with ITIL methodologies and best practices

* Document processes and maintain code quality using VSCode and version control tools

Mandatory skills:

* Python development expertise

* PowerShell and KSH scripting

* Database skills: SQL, MySQL, Postgres

* Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, AIX

* Cloud technologies: OpenStack, Kubernetes

* Automation tools and frameworks

* Experience with Airflow orchestration

* Knowledge of ITIL and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

* Familiarity with HP Suite (HPOO, HPCSA, HPSA)

* Proficiency with VSCode and version control

Appreciated skills:

* Experience in automation maintenance and AI-based automation

* Ability to work in Agile environments

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of cloud architecture and virtualization

* Experience in migration and transformation projects
