Python Data Engineer/Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Data Engineer / Data Scientist with Node.js experience to join our team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, developing backend services using Node.js, and delivering data-driven solutions using modern data and cloud technologies.

✅ Required Skills

* 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Science

* Strong programming experience in Python

* Hands-on experience with Node.js for backend/API development

* Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)

* Experience with data engineering tools (Airflow, Spark, Kafka)

* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

* Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)

* Experience building and consuming REST APIs / Microservices

* Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines

* Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms

⭐ Preferred Skills

* Experience in Machine Learning / Data Science (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

* Experience integrating Node.js services with data pipelines

* Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

* Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive)

* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps

* Experience in Agile environments
