Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist / AI-ML Engineer to work on advanced AI, machine learning, and large language model (LLM) initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire role, and candidates must be open to transitioning to full-time employment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, distributed data systems, vector databases, and LLM-related projects. This role requires both technical depth and client-facing consulting experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions leveraging data science best practices

* Build and enhance Large Language Models (LLMs) and support LLM data ingestion pipelines

* Work with structured and unstructured datasets of varying complexity

* Process and pipeline large-scale data streams in distributed computing environments

* Implement batch and real-time model scoring solutions

* Design and assemble large, complex datasets aligned with business requirements

* Perform statistical analysis and ad hoc data investigations

* Translate business problems into scalable data science solutions

* Conduct market research and develop strategic points of view for clients

* Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders

* Participate in resolving data flow and data quality issues

* Support ML Ops initiatives and model lifecycle management

Required Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience using Python for data analysis

* 3+ years of experience in a consulting environment supporting data science projects

* Hands-on experience with Vector Databases

* 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

* Building or enhancing LLMs

* LLM data ingestion pipelines

* AI/ML model development

* Statistics

* ML Ops
