Product Manager – AI Governance (Enterprise)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager based in India who is currently working as a freelancer/consultant to lead key product initiatives for our AI Governance Platform.

You will take ownership of product strategy and execution, working closely with engineering, partners, and leadership to build a scalable and enterprise-ready AI enforcement solution.

Key Responsibilities

* Own and drive the product roadmap for AI governance and enforcement

* Conduct customer discovery and validate product-market fit with target users

* Write clear and structured PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

* Prioritize features based on customer impact, revenue potential, and partner alignment

* Define, track, and optimize product KPIs and success metrics

* Collaborate with partner teams to align roadmap and integrations

* Perform competitive analysis and track industry players such as SafetyCulture, Intenseye, Lakera, and Robust Intelligence

* Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery

* Present product vision, roadmap, and updates to stakeholders, partners, and investors

* Stay up to date with trends in AI governance, compliance, and enterprise AI adoption

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in Product Management (B2B SaaS or enterprise software)

* Currently working as a freelancer / independent consultant (preferred)

* Experience with compliance, governance, risk, or security products is highly preferred

* Strong understanding of AI/ML products and enterprise adoption challenges

* Familiarity with frameworks such as EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, or similar

* Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making (SQL or equivalent)

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to work across global teams

* Comfortable working in a startup environment with ambiguity and fast-paced execution

Nice to Have

* Experience working with AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)

* Exposure to enterprise clients or regulated industries

* Prior experience working with global teams or international clients
