Full Description

Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

* 5 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree.

Preferred qualifications:

* Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

* Experience in advertising, and ads ranking.

* Experience in marketplace, advertising, or distribution platforms.

Join the Play Strategy and Operations (StratOps) and Analytics team! We work on a variety of testing data science projects to drive product decisions for Play. This team is truly embedded in the product development life-cycle we are thought partners from project ideation to experimentation, and our in-depth analyses consistently help set strategy for the wider area we work on.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

* Perform analysis utilizing relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, and Python). Help solve problems, narrow down multiple options into the best approach, and take ownership of open-ended ambiguous business problems to reach an optimal solution.

* Partner with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers (PMs), User Experience (UX), and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand user behavior, and design/analyze experiments and drive product insights to improve user experiences.

* Build and prototype analysis and business cases iteratively to provide insights at scale.

* Develop comprehensive knowledge of Google data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for product development.

* Influence across teams to align resources and direction.
