Key Responsibilities
* Architectural Leadership: Lead the technical strategy for distributed platforms, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), multi-tenant SaaS architectures, and event-driven systems.
* Data & Analytics Infrastructure: Design and implement modern data lakehouse architectures (AWS, Iceberg, Redshift) and governance models to support scalable data products.
* Observability & Reliability: Oversee cloud-native monitoring and observability pipelines, leveraging Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Thanos to ensure enterprise-grade visibility.
* Developer Experience (DevEx): Drive AI-assisted SDLC initiatives and establish integration patterns that accelerate product onboarding and migration across cloud environments.
* Technical Mentorship: Act as a technical lead for multiple engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence through coaching, architectural decision records (ADRs), and spec-driven development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Principal or Staff Engineer in a large-scale, distributed environment.
* Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Go, Java, or Node.js.
* Deep understanding of IAM protocols (Auth0, OAuth, SSO/SAML, OpenFGA).
* Experience building and scaling data platforms using Medallion architecture and cloud-native tools.
* Strong background in DevOps/SRE practices, including CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Nice-to-Have
* Experience with AI-driven development tools (Cursor, Bedrock, Codex).
* Background in highly regulated environments (SOC2, FedRAMP).
* Active contribution to open-source projects or industry conferences (e.g., Solr, CNCF).
