About the Role
At GeneralMind, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by owning the sales process from first pitch to close. You will be deeply embedded in the go-to-market motion – working hand in hand with marketing, product, sales ops, and founders to sharpen our approach and move fast.
As part of an early and ambitious sales team, you will help shape and scale our go-to-market approach across international markets. We are as interested in sharp generalists as we are in experienced sellers – what matters is that you can learn fast, understand complex problems, and articulate value clearly.
You will operate at the intersection of AI, SaaS, and operational excellence (e.g. supply chain) and become AI-native by leveraging AI tools to maximize your performance.
Your Impact
* Own the sales process from first pitch to close
* Engage and build trust with C-level executives and their direct reports across established, complex businesses
* Translate complex product value into clear business outcomes for operational buyers
* Contribute to building and refining our sales playbook and GTM strategy
* Use AI tools to improve outreach quality, preparation, and conversion rates
Your Responsibilities
* Run discovery calls, product demos, and negotiations
* Develop a strong understanding of customer challenges, especially in operational domains (e.g. supply chain)
* Partner closely with marketing, product, and founders – feeding market insights back into messaging, strategy, and roadmap
* Maintain clean pipeline management and forecasting in CRM tools
* Continuously test, learn, and improve your sales approach
Your Profile
* 2+ years of professional experience (including internships), gained in a demanding environment such as:
* Top-tier management consulting
* Venture capital or growth equity
* A fast-paced, high-growth startup
* B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales
* Above-average academic record; strong university background is a plus
* Excellent communication skills in German and English, additional languages are a plus
* Ability to understand complex products and business processes quickly
* Structured, analytical, and highly proactive working style
* Strong curiosity for AI tools and willingness to integrate them into your workflow
* Motivated to grow into a top-performing closer – with or without a pure sales background
Nice to Have
* Exposure to operations, logistics, or supply chain topics
* First experience in client-facing or commercial roles
* Track record of exceeding goals, targets, or expectations
