This role sits at the intersection of technical architecture, consultative selling, and strategic client engagement. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the presales cycle, translating complex business needs into scalable, well-architected technology solutions. Working closely with Account Executives and delivery teams, you will shape proposals, define statements of work, and guide opportunities from early discovery through successful closure. The position requires both deep technical expertise—particularly across Microsoft cloud and datacenter ecosystems—and strong communication skills to influence executive stakeholders. You will also play a key role in strengthening client relationships and positioning advanced solutions in cloud, AI, and modern workplace transformation. This is a high-impact, client-facing role within a fast-paced, remote-first environment where innovation and collaboration drive success.
Accountabilities
* Lead presales discovery sessions with clients to understand technical and business requirements and translate them into solution designs and implementation approaches
* Design and position end-to-end technology solutions leveraging Microsoft cloud, datacenter, and AI capabilities, aligned to client objectives and outcomes
* Develop detailed proposals, statements of work (SOW), ROM estimates, and technical documentation supporting sales cycles and delivery planning
* Partner closely with Account Executives to build and progress pipeline opportunities, supporting deal strategy and closing efforts
* Serve as a technical advisor and thought leader, engaging clients in value-driven conversations that differentiate solutions and services
* Deliver product and solution demonstrations across areas of expertise, showcasing technical and business value
* Collaborate with internal teams including Sales Operations and Client Experience to ensure smooth transition from presales to delivery
* Contribute to internal process improvements, knowledge sharing, and thought leadership initiatives including webinars, blogs, and client presentations
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in a client-facing Solution Architect or presales engineering role within an IT consulting or technology services environment
* Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft cloud and/or datacenter technologies, with exposure to modern infrastructure and enterprise solutions
* Proven experience creating statements of work, solution proposals, and technical architecture designs for complex client environments
* Strong ability to lead discovery conversations and translate ambiguous requirements into structured technical solutions
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging executive-level audiences
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with minimal supervision and strong ownership mindset
* Experience supporting sales cycles and contributing directly to deal closure through technical expertise
* Strong understanding of cloud, AI, and modern workplace technologies is highly desirable
* Microsoft certifications and formal education in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field are a plus
