Job Description

We are looking for a Performance Tester to join our quality engineering team. This role is critical for ensuring the high performance and data integrity of our enterprise-level systems. You will focus heavily on backend automation, performance benchmarking, and complex data validation. The ideal candidate is someone who goes beyond standard UI testing and possesses a deep understanding of how data moves through a system and how to validate its accuracy at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

* Data Integrity Auditing: Designing and executing automated checks for Checksums, Row-counts, and Schema Validation to ensure zero data loss or corruption during processing.

* Performance Benchmarking: Planning and executing Load Testing to simulate high-traffic scenarios and identify system stability limits.

* Automated API Validation: Developing and maintaining end-to-end API Automation suites to verify the functionality and security of backend services.

* Strategy & Reporting: Building comprehensive test plans, identifying critical bottlenecks, and providing detailed quality metrics to stakeholders.

* Defect Lifecycle Management: Collaborating with developers to troubleshoot complex issues found during automated data and performance runs.

Required Skills

* Data Validation Mastery: Proven hands-on experience with Checksums, Row-counts, and Schema Validation.

* Performance Testing: Practical experience conducting Load Testing to measure system behaviour under stress.

* Backend Automation: Advanced proficiency in API Automation (e.g., REST/SOAP services).

* Technical Logic: Strong understanding of database structures and data flow architecture.

* Automation Frameworks: Professional experience in building or maintaining automated testing frameworks.

Nice to have skills

* Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

* Experience with CI/CD integration for automated test triggers.

* Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

* Experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector.
