Job Description

This role is with our Partners in Performance team, part of Accenture.

Partners in Performance, Part of Accenture is a global management consulting firm with a focus on human performance working alongside client partners to make change happen. We’ve got offices in Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia, Africa, North and South America and Europe but prefer to spend as little time in them as possible. Instead, we work alongside our clients to unleash their potential and deliver lasting impact that you hardly ever achieve by sitting in a boardroom.

If you're confident to say you’re one of the market’s brightest minds, with a strong academic record to show for it, then we offer entry level opportunities where you can solve the most important and complex problems that clients are up against. You’re also an intrepid traveler, naturally curious and excited to experience all the world has on offer. So, don’t get stuck behind a desk & be pigeon-holed to an industry vertical when you can kick-start your career with a role at Partners in Performance.

The Business Analyst role is an entry level role where you would be immediately exposed to being the frontline change agent for our clients. You are the primary source of reliable data and rock-solid analysis, providing the fact base the improvement team uses to make decisions in real time.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the delivery of measurable improvements and in the implementation of processes and systems that will sustain ongoing improvements, especially by supporting prioritization and problem-solving

• To work closely with other team members and client team members to collect/analyze data and provide insights

• At times, the business analyst may be given the opportunity to take on front-line coaching roles, especially with client analysts, to broaden their management experience

Key competencies: To be successful consultant at Partners in Performance, you not only need to be an outstanding academic performer, but also be dynamic, passionate and prepared to roll up your sleeves and work inside our clients’ businesses. You need to care about people and developing them, as coaching is a big part of our success.

This position involves a significant amount of on-site travel. The ideal candidate is comfortable and available to travel 80% as part of the role.

• Demonstrated passion for results, with a track record of achieving tough targets under pressure

• Excellent problem-solving skills, including ability to structure and prioritise effort within an area, and ask the right questions to get to root causes

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to coach, influence and build trust with senior managers, and achieve results though managing a team, prioritising the professional development of team members

• Propensity to coach and guide younger consultants to deliver results and work through the line to achieve outcomes

• Strong communication skills, including ability to construct compelling arguments supported by the right facts

• Show an ability to influence and effectively multitask and manage expectations/deadlines

• Demonstrated alignment with Partners in Performance values
