Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 7 years of experience in program or project management.

* 3 years of experience leading organizational change management or mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives.

* 3 years of experience in operations, including data-driven process improvement and use of SQL or business intelligence tools.

Preferred qualifications:

* MBA or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field.

* Experience partnering with HR or People and Culture leadership in a technology organization.

* Experience in management or internal process consulting, with a focus on organizational effectiveness.

* Experience designing or implementing AI-driven workflows to optimize operational efficiency.

About the jobAs a People Strategy and Operations (StratOps) Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Director, Head of Partnering for GenAI. You will lead the direction and operational rhythm for people-related activities within an organization of approximately 3,000 employees.

In this role, you will drive critical unit-wide initiatives, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and transfers (M,A&T), culture, and organizational development. You will work in close partnership with the broader People and Culture ecosystem—including Business Partnering teams, Program Managers, Centers of Excellence, and cross-Google partners—to transform ambitious strategy into operational success. You will lead the execution of priority projects, translating high-level goals into operational reality. Simultaneously, you will serve as a trusted advisor, providing counsel, proactively assessing risks, and shaping the decisions that enable our people to grow.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

* Partner with the Unit Head of Partnering to translate business priorities into a scalable roadmap, leveraging data-driven insights to guide organizational focus.

* Facilitate synchronization, leadership forums, and planning sessions to align priorities and objectives, tracking progress against milestones to ensure unified, effective execution across the leadership team.

* Lead the design and execution of critical initiatives, converting programs into actionable, scalable, and measurable cross-functional work streams.

* Define and implement comprehensive change management strategies for organizational reorganizations and mergers, acquisitions, and transfers, while proactively advocating AI automation to reduce manual effort and operational friction.

* Optimize governance flows between People and Culture teams, and provide advisory guidance on unit-specific context, process efficiency, and stakeholder alignment, while building cross-functional partnerships to align input and share knowledge.
