Who we are

ADC is a European data and AI consultancy with offices in the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark. We help organisations turn data and AI into real impact, leading a mission to accelerate the responsible use of Data and AI. We partner with clients to achieve their goals through data-driven solutions across multiple industries: financial services, life sciences, healthcare, the public sector, retail, and transportation.

Our collective brings together the full data value chain under one roof:

* Data Strategy: Turning buzzwords into clear, business‑aligned roadmaps

* Data Engineering: Building secure, scalable, future‑proof data foundations

* Analytics & Data Science: Creating AI‑powered tools and models that actually get used

* Design & Visualisation: With our in‑house studio CLEVER°FRANKE, turning complex data into experiences people enjoy using

At ADC, our people are our most important asset. We're leveraging our expertise in people operations, organisational design, and employee experience to build a culture where everyone can thrive, grow, and do their best work.

Our People & Culture team is growing, and we are looking for a People Operations Manager who is curious, structured, and eager to grow with us. As a People Operations Manager, you will shape the everyday employee experience at ADC, designing and scaling the operational backbone of our organisation, from HRIS and compliance to policies, rewards, and development cycles.

You'll be part of a true collective, working alongside the People & Culture team and managers across offices to turn our values into clear, practical frameworks that people actually feel in their day-to-day.

Where you’ll make an impact

Drive Strategy & Culture

* Execute the People & Culture roadmap to support ADC’s buy-and-build growth strategy, balancing consistency with local needs.

* Partner with leadership to align people initiatives with business goals, ensuring people, communication, and culture are considered at each step.

* Own the end-to-end design and delivery of people operations initiatives.

* Manage the annual P&C calendar for performance, feedback, and learning cycles.

Optimize Operations & Analytics

* Own and scale core people systems (HiBob, Deel, Ravio, Confluence) for a seamless user experience.

* Streamline end-to-end lifecycle processes, from onboarding to offboarding.

* Build robust dashboards to track retention, DEI, and performance metrics.

* Translate people data into actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.

Safeguard Compliance & Rewards

* Apply a solid working knowledge of Dutch labour law, in close collaboration with our external legal counsel and HR advisors.

* Manage key frameworks including Vitality (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter) and Works Council relations.

* Refine and optimize reward structures that are both competitive and compliant, as well as clear and fair policies.

* Ensure people policies and frameworks remain current and legally aligned.

What you bring

At ADC, we're not just consultants: we're leading experts in Data & AI, and our people are the foundation of everything we build. What unites us is a shared way of working: breaking down complex challenges to changehow organisations operate.

For this role, that means:

* 8+ years of experience in People & Culture or HR roles with significant operational responsibility, ideally gained in consulting or project-based work

* A solid foundation in people operations: Proven experience managing HR systems, policies, compliance, and data dashboards

* Strong working knowledge of Dutch employment law and how to apply it in practice, including familiarity with the Dutch labour market

* Proven leadership experience: You have managed teams and fostered a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, enabling high-performing teams through frameworks, guidance, and facilitation

* Strong project management skills

* The ability to communicate with anyone in the room, breaking down complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences

* A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset: You're eager to solve problems and explore how data and AI can support better people decisions

* A collaborative spirit: You believe the best solutions come from diverse perspectives and supporting each other to raise the bar.

* Fluency in English. Dutch is a plus

What’s in it for you

At ADC, you’re part of the collective from day one. We want you to grow, experiment, and shape your own path while working on projects that matter. That means:

* Impact you can point to: You’ll see your work in action and our projects change how organisations make decisions

* Real responsibility, real support: You’ll work alongside experienced experts from the start, learning by doing with mentorship and feedback built in

* The freedom to try new things: Spot a better way to build something? A smarter process? We want people who challenge the status quo

* Collective Week: Once a year, we go on a workation with the whole ADC team. We work on pro bono projects, explore new ideas, and make the kind of memories you’ll want to talk about

* Ownership opportunities: We offer a competitive salary and bonus structure, plus the opportunity to invest in the company and become a co-owner once specific conditions are met. We mean it when we say collective

* A vibrant culture: Daily lunches, Friday drinks, sports, social events: a culture you’ll notice from day one
