Summary:

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system. Daily activities also involve utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different system components. Collaboration with various teams to monitor and optimize application functionality is an integral part of the work routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.

- Document configuration changes and maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.

- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), CMDB Discovery, ServiceNow portal.

- Strong understanding of configuration management principles and database management.

- Experience with APIs and integration techniques to connect packaged applications with other systems.

- Familiarity with low-code platforms and tools to customize and extend application functionality.

- Ability to analyze system performance and implement improvements to ensure stability and scalability.

- Good problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
