Skills and Responsibilities:
• SME to assist with Nokia’s 5520 AMS and Altiplano (the Management Platforms) and 7360.
• Proficient with Nokia’s Management Platforms, and Fixed Networks Devices (ONT, 7360, MF-2, SF8-M) including FX4, FX8, FX16, SF8-GW, SF-8M, MF-2, Altiplano, AMS 5520. good years of experience.
• SME shall support Operations, engineering and technology teams associated with the as-built configurations associated with deployments within the lab facility.
• Assisting Engineering Team with the testing and verification of new software or network changes related to the Suppliers devices within the lab facility.
• Provide Engineering support to architectural choices surrounding Suppliers products.
• Creation of method of procedures (MOP) and deployment of the MOP in the network with operation teams.
• Deploy and implement of network changes using the best practice approach.
• As required, act as liaison with Nokias internal TAC and RD organizations for technical issues including execution of proactive deliverables, faster restoration and dedicated engagement.
• Troubleshooting of network issues.
• SME will guide and assist teams as they monitor and assess performance against SLA and expected improvements alleviation of specific problems or potential future occurrence of problems, on a regular and as need basis, providing insight into real and potential threats lurking in network (SW and HW).
• Act as a SME in guiding and establishing performance metrics identifying key areas of service management.
• Facilitate identification of control mechanisms and critical action recovery paths for system and network components.
• Perform or be focal point for scheduled network health check audits and assist in network performance analysis, leveraging the toolkits provided. Assist with operational readiness, preparation and execution for network upgrades, network changes, and retrofits. Including MOP validation and testing (where applicable), and may include occasional maintenance window assist, where agreed to in writing ahead of time.
• Assist in operationalizing new Nokia technologies into the environment, including but not limited to, procedural assist (troubleshooting maintenance procedures, method of diagnosticrestoral documentation and playbooks), platform assist readiness, alarm
Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
