Type: Full-time

How often do you see a rising startup with a 100% chance of success?

That’s not something we say lightly. The reception we’ve had so far has been overwhelming. Customers get it instantly. The problem is obvious. The value proposition hits immediately. We’re not pitching a “nice to have.” We’re solving one of the most painful, fragmented problems in recruiting — and the market is responding.

This is one of those rare moments where product, timing, and demand all line up.

About Hivemind

Hivemind is building an AI-powered platform for modern recruiting teams.

Today, companies rely on multiple disconnected tools to manage hiring — communication, scheduling, assessments, and more. It’s inefficient and hard to scale.

Hivemind brings everything into one streamlined system, helping teams move faster and make better hiring decisions.

The Role

We’re hiring a Marketing Lead (Growth), but think of it more as a Head of Growth.

You’ll work directly with the founder, in-person, out of our Claremont office in Cape Town.

This is not a sit-behind-your-laptop marketing role.

This role is about:

* Building and managing relationships with recruiters, agencies, and hiring teams

* Engaging users directly to understand their workflows and needs

* Translating product capabilities into clear, practical value

* Converting interest into qualified opportunities and revenue

* Working closely with the founder on growth priorities and strategy

* Testing and refining how we reach and engage the right audience

* Strengthening Hivemind’s position within the hiring ecosystem

If your idea of marketing is running ads and waiting for inbound, this is not for you.

Why Hivemind Will Win

Most recruiting teams today are duct-taping together 10–15 tools just to run hiring. It’s slow, fragmented, and painful.

Hivemind replaces all of that with one system:

* Calls, SMS, and email

* Scheduling

* Interviews

* Assessments

* Candidate communication

One inbox. One workflow. One system.

The reason we’re winning is simple:

* The problem is obvious

* The value is immediate

* The ROI is clear

You don’t need a long sales cycle to explain it. People see it and get it instantly. That’s why traction has been strong.

What You’ll Actually Do

* Design and implement growth strategies for user acquisition and engagement

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product positioning with user needs

* Build partnerships and relationships with recruiters, agencies, and distribution channels

* Lead outreach, demos, and discovery conversations to generate opportunities

* Test and optimize channels, messaging, and GTM approaches

* Gather feedback from users and translate it into actionable product insights

* Support conversion of interest into revenue

* Contribute to long-term growth planning and positioning

Requirements

* Experience in recruiting, marketing, or growth-related role (SaaS preferred)

* Strong understanding of recruiting, hiring, or HR workflows

* Comfortable talking to users, running demos, and building trust

* Proactive, resourceful, and figures things out quickly

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Outcome-focused, not just activity-focused

Who This Role Is For

* Former recruiters looking to leverage user insight into growth and product strategy

* Professionals who enjoy building relationships and influencing outcomes

* Individuals who combine strategy with hands-on execution

* People who want to be close to product and growth

Who This Is NOT For

* You need strict structure, playbooks, or hand-holding

* You want to focus only on campaigns without broader ownership

* You avoid direct user interaction or feedback

* You’re not comfortable being close to product and customers

Why This Opportunity Is Rare

Most roles give you a narrow lane. This one gives you:

* Direct access to the founder

* Real ownership over growth and positioning

* A product that already resonates with users

* A market that’s actively pulling

You won’t just “work in marketing.” You’ll shape how this company grows.

Final Note

We’re not looking for the most polished candidate.

We’re looking for someone who can connect product, users, and growth — through strong relationships, clear communication, and consistent execution.

If that’s you, apply now.
