About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our core AI team. This is a high-impact role where you will take end-to-end ownership of research and development for core conversational AI systems powering interactive avatars.

You will help define the technical direction behind the intelligence, personality, and interactivity of large-scale AI systems. Working closely with engineers and researchers, you’ll bridge cutting-edge AI research with real-world, consumer-facing products.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Research and implement state-of-the-art solutions using foundation models, prompt engineering, RAG, knowledge graphs, and multi-agent architectures, alongside classical machine learning techniques

* Architect, build, and deploy scalable AI systems and agent-based features in production environments

* Design and run quantitative benchmarks to evaluate and improve AI system performance

* Collaborate with product teams to iterate on AI features based on user feedback and engagement metrics

* Work with research teams to transition experimental models into robust, production-ready systems

* Establish best practices for AI quality, safety, and cost efficiency

* Fine-tune and train models when necessary to meet product requirements

* Stay current with advancements in LLMs and AI systems, and prototype new approaches to enhance capabilities

What You Should Have

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field

* 2+ years of experience building systems with Large Language Models (LLMs) or agent-based architectures

* 3+ years of experience developing scalable backend systems (Python, Go, or JavaScript)

* 5+ years of experience in machine learning, statistics, or related areas, with production experience in ML/NLP/CV systems

* Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with product teams

* A proactive mindset with a strong interest in staying current with AI research and industry trends

Nice to Have

* Master’s or Ph.D. in a related technical field

* Experience building complex multi-agent systems

* Strong product intuition and focus on user experience

* Comfort working in fast-paced, early-stage environments with high ownership

* Passion for building engaging, user-centric AI products

* Research experience with publications at top-tier AI/ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, AAAI)
