Position: Galician Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $50/hour

Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

* Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Galician. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines.

* Produce high-quality written outputs in Galician and support work in English as needed.

* Define and document evaluation standards for general consumer audio contexts. Develop evaluation rubrics in Galician and English.

* Conduct model testing and grading. Evaluate outputs for accuracy, completeness, and fluency.

* Support benchmarking and quality assurance. Participate in QA cycles to ensure consistency and reliability.

Qualifications

Must-Have

* Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Native or near-native fluency in Galician (spoken and written) and professional fluency in English.

* Ability to transcribe and analyze Galician audio content.

* Available to commit 10–20 hours per week.

Preferred

* College students or recent graduates.

* Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, or technical disciplines.

* Experience with transcription, annotation, localization, evaluation, or research workflows in Galician.

* Familiarity with dialectal variations and contemporary usage.

* Interest in AI, language models, or applied research environments.
