Lead AI Automation Engineer

About the Role

Translabour builds state-of-the-art AI automation systems for enterprise clients. We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer to architect, build, and deploy autonomous agents and automated workflows that solve complex operational problems. You will be the technical anchor for our deployment operations.

What You Will Do

• Architect and build end-to-end AI automation pipelines and agentic workflows.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain AI agents in production environments.

• Integrate LLMs with external APIs, databases, and enterprise infrastructure.

• Lead technical decisions on framework selection, system architecture, and deployment strategies.

What We Are Looking For

• Core Engineering: Strong, production-level Python skills.

• Agentic Frameworks: Practical, hands-on experience building with contemporary AI agent ecosystems (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, Paperclip, OpenClaw, or direct MCP integrations).

• Systems Architecture: You know how to build robust systems that handle edge cases and LLM unpredictability gracefully.

• High Agency: You do not wait to be told what to do. You identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and own the outcome.

• Execution & Transparency: You have a heavy bias for action. You ship fast, test in the real world, and communicate openly about what is working and what is broken.

• Motivation: You thrive in early-stage, unstructured environments where you can define the engineering culture.

Education & Experience

• Experience: 4+ years of professional software engineering, with at least 1-2 years focused specifically on building, integrating, and deploying LLM applications or agentic systems in production.

• Education: BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Note: We care more about what you have built than where you studied. A strong portfolio of shipped AI systems or open-source contributions easily outweighs formal credentials.

• Track Record: Proven experience taking complex backend systems from zero to production. You must be able to point to real-world infrastructure you have architected and maintained.

• Bonus: Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment or AI consultancy.
