About the Role

As a Lead AI Agent Architect at Parloa, you will play a key role in transforming customer service through AI-powered agents. In this highly customer-facing role, you will lead the design and implementation of AI Agent solutions, helping enterprise customers and partners deliver more efficient, scalable, and intelligent customer experiences.

You will work at the intersection of LLMs, conversational design, and enterprise systems, translating complex requirements into robust, production-ready AI workflows. From early solution design to deployment and optimization, you will ensure agents perform reliably, integrate seamlessly, and deliver measurable impact.

Areas of OwnershipAI Agent Design & Implementation

* Lead the scoping and implementation of AI Agent deployments across enterprise customers and partners

* Translate customer requirements into structured AI workflows and conversational architectures

* Design, prototype, and validate scalable agent architectures for real-world use cases

* Ensure high-quality, reliable agent behavior aligned with business and user expectations

* Continuously optimize workflows to improve performance, accuracy, and user experience

LLM Prompting & Conversational Design

* Leverage deep understanding of LLMs (e.g., embeddings, prompting techniques) to design effective agent behavior

* Craft and refine prompts to ensure consistent, reliable, and user-aligned outputs

* Simplify complex workflows into structured, model-friendly interactions

* Fine-tune conversational flows, tone, and voice outputs (e.g., SSML, lexicons, regex) to align with brand and UX standards

* Apply testing and iteration (e.g., A/B testing) to improve performance at scale

System Integration & Technical Collaboration

* Work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate customer systems via APIs

* Ensure seamless connectivity with external tools such as CRMs, ticketing systems, and backend services

* Design end-to-end solutions that combine AI agents with enterprise system architecture

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across integrations and workflows

* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams

Customer Advisory & Enablement

* Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners on how to best leverage Parloa’s AI platform

* Guide customers in adopting best practices for conversational AI and automation

* Support complex use cases and help customers scale from initial deployment to broader adoption

* Document best practices, implementation patterns, and product capabilities

* Contribute to building reusable knowledge and enablement assets

Who You Are

* You bring 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing, technical role, ideally working with conversational AI, LLMs, or AI-driven applications

* You have hands-on experience in conversation design and AI agent development

* You are comfortable working with LLMs, prompting techniques (e.g., chain-of-thought, few-shot), and model behavior optimization

* You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex workflows into structured solutions

* You are experienced in working with APIs, system integrations, and enterprise architectures

* You bring strong project and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on execution and delivery

* You have a high level of attention to detail, especially when designing and refining conversational flows

Nice to Have

* Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization of AI systems

* Familiarity with contact center technologies, CX platforms, or automation tools

* Background in enterprise software or large-scale system implementations

Compensation for this role is structured as On-Target Earnings (OTE), consisting of a base salary and performance-based variable component, in addition to an equity package.

Salary Range: $150,000 USD - $200,000 USD
