Passionate about data and dreaming of a career in AI? We're looking for aspiring Data & Cloud engineers to join our team at Dataroots! During a training period, we'll equip you with the skills you need to become a proficient Data & Cloud Engineer. You'll learn to build digital data-driven solutions and infrastructure, becoming adept at designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines.

The Skills

* You possess a strong motivation to excel as a Data & Cloud Engineer.

* You have a solid grasp of essential software engineering tools like Git, Python, SQL, and Docker.

* You exhibit a passion for data-driven technologies and enthusiasm for tackling design challenges.

* You demonstrate eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks.

* You are ideally fluent in English and Dutch or French.

Nice to haves

* You have familiarity with tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.

* Having experience in constructing batch and streaming ELT data pipelines with tools such as Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, Spark, or dbt would be a valuable asset.

* You understand at least one data platform such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure data services, or AWS data services.

Where you’ll work

Our main offices are in Leuven and Ghent. These spaces are perfect for both focusing and unwinding with colleagues, as well as brainstorming sessions and team events. While much of your work can be performed remotely, you will also work on-site with clients.
