C++ Software Engineering Internship - Robotics Startup

Internship Overview:

We're excited to offer a C++ Software Engineering internship at our robotics startup. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates who are passionate about high-performance software development and want to work on real-world robotics applications. As an intern, you'll be writing production-quality C++ code for our autonomous drone systems, working alongside experienced engineers on challenging technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and optimize C++ software for drone control, navigation, and autonomy systems.

* Implement algorithms for path planning, obstacle avoidance, and decision-making.

* Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code for embedded and real-time systems.

* Participate in code reviews and contribute to our software architecture.

* Debug complex software issues using profiling tools and systematic troubleshooting.

* Collaborate with robotics and embedded engineers to integrate software with hardware systems.

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

* Strong programming skills in C++ (required) - including STL, object-oriented design, and modern C++ features.

* Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

* Experience with version control (Git) and Linux development environments.

* Familiarity with robotics frameworks (ROS), embedded systems, or real-time programming is a plus.

* Knowledge of Python or MATLAB is a plus.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
