Implementation Engineer

As our new Implementation Engineer, you'll be at the heart of enabling seamless onboarding experiences for our MSP partners and their customers, helping them protect what matters most with next generation security and backup technology.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in customer focused technical work, enjoys structured problem solving, and wants to grow their career in cybersecurity.

Candidates must be experienced and comfortable working US hours (including PST and EST)

What You'll Do:

Onboarding and deployment

* Lead onboarding and implementation sessions with new MSP partners and customers

* Deploy, configure and integrate CyberSentriq's cybersecurity and backup platform across a wide range of customer environments

* Use automation and AI powered tooling to streamline deployments, reduce manual effort and improve configuration consistency

Troubleshooting and support collaboration

* Troubleshoot setup challenges and partner with Technical Support and Customer Success teams to drive rapid resolutions

* Collaborate cross functionally to ensure smooth post-implementation handover and long term customer success

Training and documentation

* Deliver engaging training on product features, best practices and security optimisation

* Contribute to internal playbooks, implementation guides and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce onboarding time

Operational Responsibilities

* Perform operational tasks such as licence upgrades, provisioning changes and account administration

What You Bring

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience

* 2+ years experience in implementation engineering, systems engineering or another customer facing technical role

* Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, backup and recovery concepts, and MSP environments

* Knowledge of networking, firewalls, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and M365, and virtualisation technologies

* Strong communication skills with a customer first mindset

* Highly organised, process focused and comfortable writing technical documentation

* Exposure to scripting or automation such as PowerShell, Python or API integrations (preferred but not required)

* Familiarity with AI enabled tooling or automation workflows (preferred but not required)
