Job Description

You will lead the end-to-end production model pipeline for Odyssey, the world’s largest biological foundation model. Managing the Technical Staff team, you'll drive pretraining, post-training, and inference strategies to design novel proteins with atomic precision. This is a high-impact leadership role bridging fundamental AI research and wet-lab validation.

What You Will Do

* Own the entire lifecycle of protein foundation models, from large-scale pretraining to inference and multi-objective optimization.

* Lead and scale the Technical Staff team, making critical architectural decisions that define the company's technical trajectory.

* Collaborate directly with the co-founders and the wet-lab platform team to validate AI-generated proteins through parallelized experiments.

The ideal candidate

* Must have 2+ years of genuine experience at a frontier AI lab like OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, or a top bio-AI organization like Isomorphic.

* Proven track record of large-scale model training and publications at top-tier venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR.

* Deep technical expertise in ML research combined with a genuine passion for biology and applying AI to molecular design.
