Job Description

As the first strategic finance hire, you will serve as the operational spine of a high-growth company digitizing a $5B market. You will partner directly with the CEO to build FP&A from scratch, lead board preparation, and support a looming Series B. This role offers a clear trajectory to CFO.

What You Will Do

* Own the monthly financial close cycle, three-statement modeling, and end-to-end FP&A including budgeting and unit economics analysis.

* Lead preparation for board meetings and investor reporting while driving the due diligence process for an upcoming Series B fundraise.

* Establish the company’s operating cadence by managing weekly executive reviews, quarterly OKR tracking, and cross-functional strategic projects.

The ideal candidate

* 5–8 years of experience in strategic finance, beginning with top-tier investment banking or consulting followed by startup leadership.

* Proven track record of building financial discipline at a venture-backed B2B SaaS company between $5M and $50M ARR.

* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to bridge deep technical modeling and high-level board room communication with executive stakeholders.
