Role Overview

As the leader of a forward-facing engineering function, you will own how advanced AI-driven solutions are implemented, integrated, and expanded within customer environments. This is not a purely managerial role—you will actively contribute to complex implementations, set technical standards, and establish repeatable delivery frameworks.

You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success, transforming real-world challenges into scalable solutions while influencing the evolution of the platform itself.

What You’ll Drive

End-to-End Customer Delivery

Lead full lifecycle implementations—from initial discovery through integration, deployment, and expansion—ensuring solutions deliver tangible outcomes in production environments.

AI System Deployment

Design and implement intelligent, automated workflows within live systems, translating advanced capabilities into practical, high-value use cases.

Time-to-Value Acceleration

Improve onboarding efficiency by defining clear scopes, execution plans, and measurable success criteria that drive rapid adoption.

Proof of Value Execution

Own pilot engagements and validation initiatives, ensuring clear outcomes that demonstrate business impact and enable long-term partnerships.

High-Stakes Implementations

Personally lead the most complex deployments, solving technical and operational challenges that set the standard for future engagements.

Build & Lead the Function

Team Development

Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of engineers capable of operating across technical, product, and customer domains.

Operational Excellence

Define delivery standards, quality benchmarks, and engineering best practices for work executed in customer environments.

Coaching & Enablement

Guide team members in navigating ambiguity, managing stakeholder expectations, and delivering high-impact technical solutions.

Product & Feedback Integration

Translate real-world implementation insights into product improvements, identifying repeatable patterns that inform platform evolution. Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to determine what becomes core functionality versus custom solutions.

Act as a critical bridge between customers and internal teams, aligning priorities, surfacing challenges, and influencing roadmap decisions.

Establish Scalable Playbooks

Develop structured, repeatable approaches for scoping, execution, and delivery tracking. Document best practices, lessons learned, and scalable patterns to ensure consistent, predictable outcomes across engagements.

Create frameworks that reduce reinvention and enable faster, higher-quality deployments over time.

Hands-On Technical Contribution

Remain deeply engaged in the work by writing, reviewing, and debugging code, primarily in modern JavaScript/TypeScript environments. Build and enhance automated testing frameworks and address challenges in CI/CD pipelines, system reliability, and edge-case behavior.

What You Bring

Technical Leadership

Extensive experience building and delivering production-grade software systems, with a track record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced environments.

Hands-On Expertise

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Customer-Facing Experience

Proven ability to work directly with customers in technical settings, translating complex requirements into practical solutions.

Execution & Ownership

Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, defining scope, and driving initiatives from concept through delivery.

System Design Knowledge

Deep understanding of system architecture, APIs, and scalable software patterns.

Problem Solving Under Pressure

Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues in real-world environments.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to modern end-to-end testing tools, quality engineering practices, or AI-driven systems is highly valued. Experience building or scaling customer-facing engineering or solutions teams is also beneficial.
