GROWTH MARKETER SPECIALIST

As a Growth Demand Specialist, you'll have primary responsibility for developing and operating a modern, tech-forward, AI-powered engine to build top-of-funnel leads to drive our growth.

About the Opportunity
Role Overview
As Growth Demand Specialist, you’ll have a hybrid role–part BDR, part digital marketer, part marketing automation builder–who will own the top of the funnel. Your job is to scale inbound lead flow, launch smart outbound campaigns, and build repeatable systems that generate qualified meetings. This is not a traditional “junior marketer” role. It’s a hybrid role for someone who:
* Thinks like a digital strategist
* Operates like a technical marketer
* Executes like a scrappy BDR, and
* Uses AI + automation as force multipliers
You will help lay the foundation for a future sales team, including the planned addition of a senior Enterprise Account Executive for large, complex deals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own and Build Top-of-Funnel Systems
* Design, test, and optimize AI-powered outbound sequences across email, LinkedIn, and industry communities.
* Improve lead capture, lead scoring, and qualification using HubSpot.
* Launch A/B tests weekly across messaging, audiences, and CTAs.
2. Amp Up Inbound Through Digital Marketing
* Turn our existing content, webinars, conference talks, and expert insights into:
* Lead magnets
* Drip campaigns
* Retargeting assets
* SEO-optimized content
* Optimize our website for conversion (CRO frameworks, forms, automations, routing).
* Manage website (Wordpress) and monthly newsletter (Campaign Monitor) content
3. Build Automation to Scale Everything
* Implement AI tools for:
* Prospect research
* Contact enrichment
* Personalized outreach
* Lead scoring
* Meeting scheduling
* Connect automation workflows across HubSpot, Apollo, Zapier, LinkedIn, Slack, and email.
4. Partner with CEO & Prepare for Sales Team Expansion
* Take ownership of early meetings and nurture deal flows.
* Help build the pipeline necessary to justify hiring a senior Enterprise AE (targeting enterprise/government/global accounts).
* Track KPIs and report funnel insights weekly.
Skills & Qualifications
* 1–3+ years in Demand Gen, BDR, Growth Marketing, or Marketing Ops.
* Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Apollo, Campaign Monitor, Wordpress, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Ads, Meta/LinkedIn Ads, and AI assistants.
* Strong comfort with automation tools (Zapier, Make, HubSpot Workflows, Clay, ChatGPT).
* You enjoy cold outreach, A/B testing, data, and building repeatable systems.
* You want to help a scaling company transition from founder-led sales to a modern sales + marketing engine.
* Professional fluency in English and Spanish
Nice to Haves
* Experience working in a small, fast-moving tech company.
* Familiarity with long enterprise sales cycles.
* Ability to repurpose technical content into digestible marketing assets.
* Interest in eventually growing into Demand Gen Manager, SDR Lead, or Growth Lead.
Success Looks Like
Within the first 6 months, you will have:
* Increased MQL → SQL volume through predictable inbound workflows.
* Delivered outbound sequences that generate 10–20 qualified meetings per month.
* Automated 20–40% of manual prospecting and follow-up tasks.
* Built the pipeline necessary to confidently hire a high-end Enterprise AE.
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 CAD depending on experience
