Role Description:

• We are seeking an AI & GenAI Architect to lead end-to-end solution architecture for AI/GenAI initiatives—spanning discovery, design, delivery oversight, and adoption.

• This role requires strong customer-facing advisory, the ability to set and manage expectations, and proven expertise in building scalable, secure, governed AI solutions across enterprise environments.

• The architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, data teams, and governance functions to translate business objectives into implementable AI architectures with measurable outcomes.

Required Skill Sets:

• Customer Solutioning & Advisory- Lead customer discovery workshops to identify high-value AI/GenAI use cases, define success criteria, and align stakeholders on scope, feasibility, and constraints.

• Own solution storytelling: articulate architecture options, trade-offs, cost drivers, risks, and timelines in business-friendly language.

• Manage customer expectations proactively by establishing: Clear assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria

• A realistic delivery plan (PoC → Pilot → Scale). Governance guardrails (security, privacy, compliance) and human-in-the-loop controls. Drive executive-ready communications: architecture briefs, value cases, roadmap narratives, and steering committee updates.

• Architecture & Design Leadership- Define reference architectures and detailed solution designs for: Traditional AI/ML frameworks and practices – including data preparation pipelines, cleaning, transformations, and dataset splits (train/validation/test). Suitable algorithms and modeling approaches; build baselines and iterate to improve performance. LLM-based applications (chat, summarization, content generation, copilots). RAG patterns (retrieval, chunking, embeddings, vector search). Agentic workflows (tool use, orchestration, memory patterns, guardrails)

• Produce high-quality architecture artifacts: HLD/LLD, integration diagrams, non-functional requirements, security design, and operational runbooks.

• Responsible AI, Governance & Risk Management-

• Ensure solutions align to organizational AI governance practices, including security approvals, privacy/legal review, and documented operating processes for SDLC usage of GenAI.

• Define safeguards such as: Prompt/response filtering, content safety, red-teaming pathways. Data access controls, PII handling, auditability, and model risk controls. Establish and track AI program metrics (quality, safety, cost, adoption), aligned to customer outcomes and ongoing monitoring.

• Engineering Enablement & Delivery Oversight- Partner with engineering teams to translate architecture into actionable work items and implementation standards. Provide technical leadership across:

• API and integration patterns, event-driven architectures, microservices. CI/CD, MLOps/LLMOps, observability, FinOps for GenAI workloads. Review designs, validate implementations, and unblock delivery teams through hands-on troubleshooting and technical mentorship.

• bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or equivalent experience.

• Good years in solution/enterprise architecture with strong customer-facing experience (pre-sales, advisory, or delivery).

• Proven experience designing solutions using cloud platforms and enterprise integration patterns (microservices, event-driven, API management).

• Strong knowledge of AI/GenAI architecture patterns including:

• LLM application patterns, RAG, embeddings/vector search, prompt engineering

• Model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, grounding approaches

• Experience with governance and compliance in regulated environments (financial services, insurance, etc. preferred).

• Excellent communication: able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both executives and engineers.

Desired skill Sets:

• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms – Azure / AWS / Google, agent frameworks.

• Experience with platforms like GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Anthropic Claude, Amazon Bedrock, Azure Foundry, Google Vertex etc.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled SDLC practices and organizational playbooks for GenAI usage across lifecycle phases.
