Position: Game Developer (Engines)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $80 - $120/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and optimize game environments using Panda3D and Godot.
* Script advanced gameplay mechanics and physics systems using Python and GDScript.
* Collaborate with AI research teams to build and refine environments for AI training.
* Create modular, maintainable, and well-documented code for simulations and interactions.
* Ensure performance, stability, and scalability of game systems across platforms.
* Contribute to the design and technical direction of AI-driven gameplay features.
* Communicate progress, challenges, and technical insights with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
* Strong experience with Panda3D and/or Godot game engines.
* Proficiency in Python and GDScript for scripting game logic and physics.
* Strong understanding of game physics, environment design, and interactive systems.
* Experience building and optimizing real-time game environments.
* Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience integrating AI models or agents within game engines.
