Full Stack Engineer

We're looking for a creative, ambitious full stack developer who is ready to jump into a startup at the very early stage. This is the opportunity to build a product from ground zero, in a highly collaborative small team. We don't have all the answers, and you'll be a key part of figuring it out. 

We are venture-backed, and co-founded by repeat entrepreneurs who you'll work directly with as one of the first engineering hires. If your ambition is to eventually build your own startup, there is no better place to learn and grow.

We are building a platform that exists at the intersection of new standards and technologies like OpenAI's AppsSDK, MCP, MCP Apps, and the Agentic Commerce Protocol. You need to be incredibly passionate about building AI-native products. You don't need to be an expert, but have the curiousity and side-projects to demonstrate you want to learn. This is a hybrid role, with offices in the Yorkville area of Toronto and in Calgary.

Job Responsibilities:

* Run experiments/prototypes on new standards (MCP Apps, WebMCP, Agentic Commerce Protocol)

* Work closely with co-founders, tech team and early users, and iterate fast

* Ship features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and data

* Build AI-native experiences (LLMs, tools, agents) with strong safety and evals

* Design APIs/data models and integrate third-party services

* Own infra + CI/CD (Docker/Kubernetes), observability, and performance

Required Skills:

* 2-6+ years of experience building front and back-end systems

* Experience leveraging and tinkering with coding agents to rapidly ship, test and maintain software

* Ideally, familiarity with some or all of Typescript, Next.js, React, Kubernetes, Docker

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to think out of the box

* Excitement for working in a start-up environment with a high level of ambiguity and change

* Experience thriving on a small team where you can make a big impact. You are confident in your toolkit and experience, and you also love to pick up new skills and knowledge.
