Position: Software Engineer (AI-Native Platform & Integrations)

Type: Full-time position

Compensation: $70-$110 per hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

* Own core product delivery end-to-end, including platform foundations, integrations, analytics surfaces, and pilot launch support

* Build AI-native workforce management platform components, including core entities, workflows, permissions, and multi-tenant foundations

* Develop an omni-tool integration layer, including connectors, event ingestion, sync, and actions

* Build real-time analytics dashboards with live metrics, drill-downs, and exports

* Architect an agentic tool-use layer compatible with MCP-style patterns, including tool registry, permissions, runtime, and observability

* Ship production features across backend and frontend

* Design and implement a scalable integrations framework

* Set up strong engineering hygiene, including testing, observability, and on-call readiness for the pilot

* Iterate quickly and pragmatically

Requirements

* Strong practical software engineering skills with the ability to ship end-to-end features independently

* Experience building SaaS products with APIs, data models, and production constraints

* Deep comfort with integrations, including OAuth2, webhooks, API pagination, rate limiting, and sync semantics

* Effective use of AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT while maintaining strong standards around tests, interfaces, and guardrails

* Familiarity with MCP-style tool interfaces or building tool servers

* Clear communication skills with the ability to explain tradeoffs and align stakeholders
