About Us: SetSale is a rapidly growing startup building an AI SaaS platform that is revolutionizing how HVAC Contractors and Distributors execute their sales functions. We have a validated product that is already making waves, and we are looking to grow our small, high-impact team.

The Opportunity: We are looking for a senior developer who gets excited about shipping real products, integrating AI into everything, and taking ownership from conception to production. If you love moving fast, thinking in systems, and prioritizing product impact over technical elegance for its own sake—we want to talk to you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

💻 Ship End-to-End: Own full-stack features using React/Next.js, Node.js APIs, Postgres, and async Trigger.dev workflows. Style responsive UIs quickly with Tailwind.

🤖 Integrate AI Into Everything: Approach every feature with an AI-first mindset. Use LLMs, embeddings, and agents to automate, enhance, and unlock new capabilities.

⚙️ Drive Quality: Build confidence with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing in Playwright. Manage async task queues and optimize performance for scalability.

Who You Are:

✅ Battle-Tested: 5+ years of professional experience building web applications. You are a React and Next.js expert, but adaptable to whatever the product needs.

✅ AI-First Mindset: You use LLMs and AI coding assistants daily to multiply your output, and you know how to build software with AI as a natural building block.

✅ Product-Minded Self-Starter: You think about the UX and business impact before writing a single line of code. You don't wait for instructions—you identify gaps, propose solutions, and execute.

✅ Strong with the Stack: Deep knowledge of Postgres indexing, Tailwind styling, and Node.js backend patterns.

Bonus points if you have experience with Rust (Tokio/Axum), GraphQL/RESTful API design, or have a background in early-stage startups!
