The Role

We’re looking for a product-minded Front-End Engineer to help build and scale our AI-driven platforms. This role focuses on creating high-quality, performant interfaces that power dashboards, reports, and conversational AI experiences used by real customers.

You’ll work directly with product leadership and backend engineers to turn complex ideas into intuitive user experiences. We move fast, value ownership, and prioritize engineers who can build, ship, and improve products continuously.

What You’ll Build

•       Data-rich dashboards and reporting interfaces that make genetic test results understandable

•       AI avatar chat and conversational UI experiences — the primary way users interact with their health data

•       Consumer-facing AI-powered web applications across multiple platforms

•       Responsive interfaces across desktop, tablet, and mobile

•       Interactive tools that translate complex diagnostic data into clear, usable insights

Core Responsibilities

•       Build and maintain modern front-end applications using React and Next.js

•       Translate product ideas and design specifications into production-ready features

•       Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces

•       Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and data services

•       Own features end-to-end, from concept to deployment

•       Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards

•       Continuously improve performance, maintainability, and user experience

•       Help shape frontend architecture and best practices as the platform scales

Required Qualifications

•       Strong experience building production applications with React.js and Next.js

•       Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript

•       Strong Tailwind or modern CSS framework experience

•       Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services

•       Experience building responsive, accessible web applications

•       Familiarity with Git-based workflows and modern frontend tooling

•       Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot

•       Ability to work independently, take ownership, and ship features quickly

•       Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

Bonus Experience

•       TypeScript experience

•       Experience building data-heavy dashboards or reporting tools

•       Experience working with AI interfaces, chat UIs, or conversational systems

•       Experience in regulated industries (healthtech, fintech, etc.)

•       Experience improving frontend performance and scalability

What Success Looks Like in 90 Days

•       Fully productive across active platforms with minimal ramp-up time

•       Shipping multiple frontend features per sprint

•       Strong familiarity with the codebase and architecture

•       Contributing improvements to UI performance, code quality, or developer workflow
