Job Description

As a founding hire, you will build the software layer for autonomous solar inspection. You will own the customer-facing platform and AI agent, Photon, turning multimodal robot data into real-time grid-scale insights. You will lead the engineering team while scaling ML infrastructure for a product directly increasing global clean energy reliability.

What You Will Do

* Lead and mentor the frontend/backend team while owning product delivery for the data platform, AI agents, and core APIs.

* Design and scale ML infrastructure including model registries, feature stores, and RAG pipelines for real-time multimodal data processing.

* Collaborate with robotics and computer vision teams to close the loop between autonomous field rovers and actionable customer insights.

The ideal candidate

* Has 3-5+ years of experience as a strong IC with deep expertise in Python (FastAPI/Django) and TypeScript (React/Next.js).

* Possesses hands-on experience productionizing AI systems, specifically RAG pipelines, LLM orchestration, and vector databases.

* Demonstrates a fast-paced product mindset with the ability to ship, iterate, and refine complex software in a startup environment.
