Focal's AI Assistant enables advisors to streamline their operations from providing note-taking and data entry automation workflows that help them save 15+ hours a week.

The opportunity

We are looking for a new college grad who wants to own scaling our GTM function in Canada. We value raw drive, high agency and top percentile IQ+EQ over years of experience.

What you’ll own

* Own the full sales and GTM cycle from first conversation through close and expansion

* Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, relationship-building, and disciplined follow-up

* Run consultative discovery around advisor workflows, operational pain, compliance requirements, and growth goals

* Deliver compelling demos that connect Focal’s product to measurable customer outcomes

* Partner with the founders to sharpen ICP, messaging, pricing feedback, and competitive positioning

* Work cross-functionally with product and customer success to translate market feedback into product and onboarding improvements

* Build repeatable sales assets and systems, including playbooks, objection handling, call notes, and forecast hygiene

* Help define (And Build) Agentic systems to automate your workflows using tools like Codex + Claude Code

What we’re looking for

* At least 2+ High impact summer internships in banking/consulting/tech/startups

* Top 10% percentile in terms of GPA/coursework experience

* Top 10% percentile in IQ/EQ (High Conscientiousness/ Agreeableness)

* Willingness to be coached + desire to learn

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* High ownership, strong judgment, and genuine customer empathy
