Founding Deployments Lead
cora.aiFull Description
About Us
Winning the deal is just Day 0. We built the system for everything that comes next.
Cora is a team of AI agents that understand what's happening across every customer account and take action to drive retention and growth. Not another dashboard. Not a copilot. Actual autonomous agents that drive onboarding forward, catch adoption risks early, build the ROI story before someone asks for it, and protect renewals before they're at risk.
We're backed by legendary investors, and companies like Coursera, Dialpad, Flock Safety, BetterUp and more already trust Cora to run their post-sales operations. We launched out of stealth in March 2026 and we're growing fast.
The Role
We're hiring our Founding AI Deployments Lead: the person who will define how Cora's agents get deployed across every customer. This isn't a role where you inherit a playbook. It's the role where you write it.
You'll work directly with our CEO and founding team in SF to deploy AI agents at enterprise customers, turn messy deployment challenges into repeatable processes, and feed what you learn directly into the product. This starts as an IC role with a clear path to building and leading a team as we scale.
There's an enormous difference between building an AI demo and deploying AI agents at scale. We need someone who's energized by that gap, not intimidated by it.
What You'll Do
* After a deal closes, you own the deployment. Run kickoffs, configure agents, optimize prompts, and get customers to production.
* Build the deployment playbook from scratch. Document what works, create repeatable frameworks, and establish the processes we'll use for our next 50 customers.
* Be the face of Cora post-sale. Run workshops, check-ins, and executive reviews. You're as comfortable with practitioners as you are with the C-suite.
* Spot patterns across customer problems and turn them into product requirements. You'll work directly with engineering to shape the roadmap. This is a core part of the job, not an afterthought.
* Turn happy customers into case studies, references, and evangelists.
* As deployments scale, hire and lead the team that carries this function forward.
What We're Looking For
* 3-8 years in a customer-facing, technical, or strategic role: solutions engineering, implementation management, consulting, forward-deployed engineering, customer-facing PM, or a founding operator role at an early-stage company. We care more about what you've built than where you worked.
* You use AI tools daily. You understand how LLMs work, you've tuned prompts, or you've deployed AI-powered products. You don't need to be an ML engineer, but you need to go deep on agent behavior, not just talk about it abstractly.
* You want to create something new, not optimize someone else's playbook. You've built processes, teams, or products from zero before, and you can point to the results.
* You write clearly, present confidently, and executives take you seriously. You can move between technical and business audiences without losing either one.
* Strong product sense. You go deep on workflows and edge cases. When something breaks, you don't just flag it. You understand why and come with a recommendation.
* SF-based or willing to relocate. This is an in-person role, 5 days a week.
What Sets You Apart
* You turn chaos into structure. You've operated in 0-to-1 environments and your instinct is to build frameworks, not wait for them.
* You'd rather ship something imperfect and learn than spend another week in planning mode.
* You own outcomes. If something is broken, you fix it. If a process doesn't exist, you create it. You don't wait for permission.
* You have strong opinions about how autonomous agents will reshape enterprise software, and you want to be on the team that proves it.
