Your Typical Day In a Radiology Environment Includes
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the radiology practice by processing financial transactions, managing the cashbook, administering creditors and performing accounting related reconciliations.
* Collaborating with healthcare service providers and suppliers.
* Contributing to a fast-paced, evolving environment where your skills are valued and continuously honed.
Minimum Requirements
* Matric / Grade 12 with strong numeracy and accounting literacy skills
* Bookkeeping / Finance / Accounting Qualification is advantageous
* At least 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
* Strong computer literacy, preferably on systems within a healthcare environment and able to adjust to using different technologies
* High level of accuracy & accounting reconciliation skills
* Analytical and proven problem-solving ability
* Working knowledge of accounting systems (e.g. Sage Evolution or similar)
* Sound understanding of VAT
* Some Short/online courses completed on self- development and soft skills: Effective Communication, Conflict Management, Planning & Time-Management, Emotional Intelligence, Problem Solving, Workplace Etiquette, Ethics, Teamwork, Wellness, Outlook, Excel, Word through providers such as Udemy.com and Alison.com
* Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook
* High level interpersonal skills and able to develop and maintain positive relationships with branches, suppliers and service providers
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with people clearly and effectively at all levels (both verbal and non-verbal communication)
* Great attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work under pressure as the ability to plan workload is crucial
* Stable track record
Main Responsibilities
Cashbook ManagementMaintain and update the cashbook on a daily basisProcess bank, credit card and petty cash transactions accurately and timeouslyPerform daily and monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesCreditors AdministrationCapture and process supplier invoices accuratelyReconcile supplier statements and resolve queriesPrepare and process creditor payments in line with payment cyclesMaintain positive relationships with suppliersFinancial Controls & ReconciliationsPerform regular reconciliations (suppliers & general ledger accounts), at least monthlyEnsure accuracy and completeness of financial recordsAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesAny finance related task that can reasonably be expectedCompliance & ReportingEnsure compliance with VAT and relevant financial regulationsMaintain proper supporting documentation and audit trailsAssist in preparing financial reports as requiredGeneral Administration
* Maintain organised filing systems (electronic and manual)
* Support the Finance Manager, Operations Manager and Buyer with ad hoc financial and administrative tasks
* Prepare for and support the external Auditors with the annual audit
* Ensure you understand the POPI Act legislation, the protection of the disclosure of information of our patients / members and our own staff members and the impact thereof on our practice.

Hours Of Work
* Monday - Friday on a bi-weekly rotational basis:
07:30 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 16:30
