About The Role

What if your sharp critical eye and research instincts could directly determine what AI tells millions of people? We're looking for Fact-Checking Analysts to dig into AI-generated content, verify claims against authoritative sources, and help ensure that AI systems communicate truth — not fiction.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong research skills and a natural skepticism toward unverified information. No journalism degree or prior fact-checking experience required — just a methodical mind and a commitment to accuracy.

What You'll Do

* Verify AI-generated statements, statistics, and claims against reliable, authoritative sources

* Flag factual errors, outdated information, and unsupported or misleading claims

* Rate the accuracy and reliability of AI outputs using structured evaluation rubrics

* Document your sources and reasoning clearly for each fact-check decision

* Work across a wide range of topics — from current events and science to history, culture, and technology

* Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Who You Are

* Strong research skills with the ability to identify and evaluate trustworthy sources

* Naturally skeptical — you don't take claims at face value without evidence

* Detail-oriented and systematic in your approach to evaluating information

* Clear, concise written communicator who can explain reasoning effectively

* Self-motivated and reliable when working independently

* No journalism, academic, or professional fact-checking background required

Nice to Have

* Experience in research, journalism, academic writing, or investigative work

* Familiarity with source verification tools and databases

* Background in science, history, law, or other knowledge-intensive fields

* Experience with AI tools or content evaluation platforms
