This senior executive role is responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide organizational performance by translating strategic vision into scalable internal systems, structures, and operating rhythms. Acting as a key partner to executive leadership, you will architect the frameworks that connect people, processes, and technology to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable impact. A major focus of the role is leading organizational transformation through AI enablement and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and employee experience. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and leadership development, ensuring clarity of execution across all divisions. The environment is highly mission-driven, fast-evolving, and collaborative, requiring strong executive presence and comfort navigating ambiguity. This position also plays a critical role in shaping leadership culture, decision-making cadence, and organizational agility at scale.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will define and execute the systems, strategies, and leadership routines that drive organizational performance, alignment, and long-term impact across the enterprise.

* Set and lead the vision for organizational performance, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and long-term mission outcomes

* Drive the organization’s AI enablement and transformation agenda to improve productivity, systems efficiency, and staff experience

* Translate executive vision into clear, actionable operational strategies across divisions and leadership teams

* Design and implement integrated organizational systems connecting people, processes, and technology for scalable execution

* Establish performance management frameworks using data and OKRs to monitor progress and drive accountability

* Lead executive-level operating rhythms, ensuring high-impact decision-making and organizational alignment

* Identify and mitigate complex, cross-functional risks while guiding leadership through ambiguity and change

* Strengthen leadership effectiveness through coaching, feedback, and development of senior leaders and emerging talent

* Oversee board and external engagement preparation, ensuring clear communication of performance and transformation progress

Requirements

This role requires deep executive leadership experience, strong systems thinking, and the ability to drive organization-wide transformation through strategy, data, and people leadership.

* 12+ years of experience in organizational leadership, systems leadership, or enterprise performance/organizational development roles

* Proven ability to translate executive strategy into scalable operational systems and measurable outcomes

* Strong expertise in systems thinking, organizational design, and cross-functional problem-solving

* Demonstrated success driving business strategy, continuous improvement, and large-scale transformation initiatives

* Experience building and leading data-driven performance management frameworks and accountability systems

* Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and guide high-stakes decision-making

* Strong capability in navigating complex organizational dynamics and external stakeholder environments

* Familiarity with or strong aptitude for AI-enabled transformation and technology-driven change

* Experience in education systems or mission-driven nonprofit environments is a plus

* Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership development skills
