The Role

We are seeking a small group of Academic Philosophers and Ethics Consultants to join a high-level initiative in partnership with a leading technology company. We are building a benchmark to evaluate how AI agents navigate complex ethical trade-offs in professional sectors such as healthcare, finance, government, and law.

This role is not for standard data entry; it is a critical peer-review function. You will assess the philosophical robustness of a framework based on recent AI ethics research (Kilov et al., 2025; Levine et al., 2025) across four moral dimensions: sensitivity, judgment, motivation, and character.

What you’ll be doing

* Review our ethical framework, rubric, and a representative sample of benchmark tasks

* Assess the philosophical robustness of our approach (moral dimensions, evaluation criteria)

* Flag gaps, inconsistencies, or areas where the framing could be strengthened

* Provide written feedback with opportunity for follow-up discussion

What you’ll bring

* Academic background in moral philosophy, applied ethics, or AI ethics

* PhD or equivalent; postdoctoral or faculty level preferred

* Familiarity with normative frameworks (consequentialism, deontology, virtue ethics, etc.)

* Bonus: experience with AI systems, algorithmic decision-making, or professional ethics
