Position: Environmental Engineer
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $59 - $114/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
* Design and oversee systems to manage and remediate environmental impacts on water, air, and soil.
* Conduct environmental impact assessments for land use and infrastructure projects.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex environmental challenges.
* Advise organizations on environmental compliance, regulations, and remediation strategies.
* Develop reports and documentation on project objectives, progress, and outcomes.
* Utilize GIS, CAD, and modeling tools to analyze and visualize environmental data.
* Contribute to AI model training through data curation and domain expertise.
Requirements
* Strong experience with environmental modeling and GIS tools such as ArcGIS and MODFLOW.
* Strong experience using analytical tools like MATLAB and statistical software.
* Expertise in hazardous materials management and regulatory compliance systems.
* Proficiency in CAD tools including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
* Strong understanding of environmental regulations and safety standards.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
