Engineering Manager, AI

We’re partnering with a global, publicly listed SaaS company building out a next-generation AI product suite across legal, tax, and enterprise workflows.

They’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact team working on AI-native products—focused on scaling systems, driving innovation, and solving complex, ambiguous problems across the software lifecycle.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a startup-like environment backed by enterprise scale, where you’ll have real ownership over both technical direction and team growth.

What You’ll Do

* Lead and grow a team of engineers building AI-driven products end-to-end

* Own and drive the technical roadmap, balancing new innovation with system reliability and scalability

* Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions

* Mentor and develop engineers, building a strong pipeline of future leaders

* Introduce and scale modern engineering practices across teams

* Operate across both strategy and execution—this is not a purely hands-off role

What They’re Looking For

* ~8+ years of software engineering experience

* 3+ years managing and scaling engineering teams

* Strong background in backend systems (Python, AWS)

* Experience working in fast-moving, product-focused environments

* Track record of driving process improvements, technical strategy, and team development

* Ability to navigate ambiguity and build structure where needed

Nice to have: exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript), AI/ML systems, or large-scale data platforms
