Reports to: VP, Strategy & Operations

Location: Hybrid

Status: Full Time – Exempt

About the role

The Director, Strategy & Operations is an execution-oriented strategist — someone who owns complex initiatives end-to-end and drives them to outcomes. You'll work directly with the CEO and business leaders on high-priority programs spanning strategy, corporate development, and cross-functional execution. This is a global role.

As part of the Strategy organization, you'll help define and advance the company's enterprise strategy, shaping how resources are allocated, how growth opportunities are prioritized, and how long-term value is created. You'll operate at the center of the business, tackling complex, ambiguous questions that cut across functions and time horizons, and translating strategy into decisions that materially impact company performance.

You'll serve as a senior generalist and strategic thought partner to the Chief Growth Officer — leading enterprise-level strategic inquiries, owning the substance and outcomes of priority growth and value creation initiatives, and working closely with executive leadership to frame trade-offs, drive alignment, and deliver measurable results. You'll be a corporate athlete — equally comfortable digging deep into complex issues and distilling clear, decision-ready insights for executives and the board.

What you'll do

* Own the strategic substance and outcomes of priority growth and value creation initiatives sponsored by the Chief Strategy Officer

* Lead complex cross-functional programs with clear accountability, timelines, and measurable outcomes

* Shape and evolve enterprise strategy by synthesizing market, customer, financial, and operational insights into clear strategic recommendations

* Act as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Strategy Officer, pressure-testing ideas and representing the CSO perspective in working forums as appropriate

* Help structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and decisions, amplifying the impact of analysts and specialists across the team

* Prepare executive-level presentations, decision memos, and briefing materials for senior leadership and board discussions

* Identify strategic growth opportunities and operational expansion initiatives

* Evaluate investment opportunities, market adjacencies, and competitive positioning

* Support corporate development initiatives including market scanning, partnership evaluation, M&A assessments, and build/buy/partner analysis

What you'll bring

* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (MBA preferred)

* 6+ years of experience in MBB, enterprise strategy, corporate strategy, growth strategy, or related roles

* Management consulting experience at a high-growth technology company preferred

* Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority

* Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills

* Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution

* Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, automation platforms, and business intelligence tools

* Strong strategic judgment with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

* Excellent communication skills and executive presence
